CAR POS Data Transfer and Audit (POSDTA) involves the collection of POS transaction data from stores, stored as transaction logs (TLOG) and processed by the Point of Sale Data Processing Engine (PIPE).
PIPE performs operations on received POS transactions, including master data validation, sales auditing, summarizing POS transaction data, and sending it to downstream applications.
Store segmentation may limit product availability, necessitating management of which products are sold where. The listing method controls these processes, allowing products to be listed, prohibited, or returned.
Advantages of the listing method include:
